ABOUT ME

Born and based on Long Island, Marilyn Parada grew her love for performing when she started dancing at Kellie's Dance Studio at just four years old for 14 years, then found her passion for musical theater in elementary school. Growing up, Marilyn was always involved in choirs and performance groups, particularly in high school. During this time, she also had the opportunity to take an Intensive Acting course at the Rybin Studio of Drama. When Marilyn is not performing, she loves to travel with her family, explore new places, and meet new faces! She recently graduated from Manhattanville University with a BFA in Musical Theatre is very determined to continue her career in the performing arts industry by sharing what she loves doing most.

Still love revisiting this piece nowadays and playing around with it :)

National Anthem - Marilyn Parada

Always an honor to have the opportunity to sing the national anthem. Getting to revisit this song for many years and figuring out how to evolve the way I sing it, while maintaining its foundation is always a great time. Thank you to Teatro y Danza de San Jose Patron for inviting me to your Hispanic Heritage event/party to sing some songs and to have some fun!

I’m glad I finally got to see one of your musicals for your last year and it was really fun to watch from the audience. Because of you, I believe in myself and continue to peruse a career in musical theatre. I really don’t know what I would’ve done in my life without your guidance. I have never felt so much love and support from a cast as I have this year. There were times where I wasn’t sure if I believed in myself, but you guys (you know who you are) were always there for me no matter what. Thank you to everybody who came to support me and the other wonderful, talented people in our cast. This is probably one of the best moments of my life, and there are many more to come. I also couldn’t ask for a better director. ❤️

Happy National Dance Day! I'm posting one of my favorite videos that involve me dancing. I had this on my finsta, but I'm ready to post here LOL. Idc what anybody thinks about this video bc I love dancing whether it's in a stupid, goofy way like that or in dance class. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Chamber Choir 16'/17' Definitely a challenging piece but we did it! 💚

so like everytime i watch this i always blush and i have so many mixed emotions about this because first of all i was sick when i performed this (just my luck) and second of all to me i never wanted anybody to see this because i remember even when i was in third grade lol, but it also makes me very happy to see how far i've made it and how happy theatre has always made me ❤️❤️❤️, oh and that's autumn next to me 💖 (Gypsy 2010 🎭)
